If you allow Ford to get away with this rampant homosexual support, other companies will do the same. Hopefully, other companies will see what happened to Ford and will think twice before forcing gay rights stuff down our throats. I totally agree with the boycott, and McDonald's will be the next one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11693538.post-12406153460320497922008-02-22T03:30:00.000-05:002008-02-22T03:30:00.000-05:00Good post. The truth is that stale product and bad marketing had done most of the dameage.

The Focus that became stale, the Taurus/Fivehundred and TaurusX/Freestyle that were poorly marketed. The Freestar that was just plain bad. Don't discount the rise in fuel price and shift from trucks, which were FoMoCo's bread and butter.

New products are going to see a resurgance at FoMoCo over the next few years.

The AFA is taking credit for something they didn't do. Dobson and his ilk will say anything to get media attention.

Oh and just a note on your quotes from Leviticus, don't forget what else is an "abominatin" eating shellfish. That's right, the same penalty as if you slept with someone of the same ses. So for all those "Christians" and other "True Believers" out there, if you've gone to Red Lobster or any other seafood resteraunt in your lifetime, you're doomed. Maybe you should have walked on the wild side instead of having that Lobster roll???Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05303851692655941627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11693538.post-3221169853557895972008-02-12T22:09:00.000-05:002008-02-12T22:09:00.000-05:00TELL FORD WHAT YOU THINK!TELL FORD WHAT YOU THINK!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11693538.post-71135795488241742972008-02-12T21:50:00.000-05:002008-02-12T21:50:00.000-05:00This is the way it works...in America, people vote...This is the way it works...in America, people vote with their wallets, or, in other words, they say to themselves, "Would I rather have 10 dollars in my pocket, or a tool that will help me fix things around the house?" Then they vote yea or nay by purchasing that "thing" or not. Why is this worth mentioning? Because enough people who heard about the Ford boycott said to themselves, "I really need a vehicle, and I want to vote with my wallet to get what I want, but I am willing to sacrfice some desires so as not to support what this company (Ford) is doing with there advertising budget". Right, wrong or other, Ford is paying the price as they continue to lose votes (cash) because in this society, people can still choose. It is obvious, while we bicker about whether the boycott is justified, that Ford has considered the costs and chosen to continue the gay-pleasing agenda, or simply they themselves are not convinced that their losses are from the AFA boycott. The world may never know if the boycott has contribruted directly to Ford's decline in sales, but they will never, never get around the "vote" factor. So the question remains, "Are more people voting from the gay propaganda to purchase Fords, or voting not to purchase Fords because of the propaganda? Our position on the matter makes no difference, unless of course, we too are voting (to buy or not to buy).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11693538.post-90101062690398300742008-02-12T09:34:00.000-05:002008-02-12T09:34:00.000-05:00Ford will rebound. AFA is nothing more than a religious extremist organization much like the Westboro Baptist Church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11693538.post-47673537328785284382008-02-07T10:02:00.000-05:002008-02-07T10:02:00.000-05:00I think that the objective behind the boycott is t...I think that the objective behind the boycott is to have Ford executives repent (i.e. change direction) - not destroy the company. It's like the UAW striking - they surely don't really want to destroy the company they work for - they only want to use what little leverage they have for their advantage. Ford dealers actually noticed a decline in sales and realized it WAS from this boycott, went to Ford, Ford recanted and pulled financial support from the pro-homosexual culture war front, the AFA pulled their boycott immediately - THEN Ford executives changed their mind. So the AFA put the boycott back into place. Interestingly, in the macho state of Texas, tons of Toyota dealers are noticing that a large portion of trade-ins for the new Tundras, are Ford pickups. Ford is in deep do-do, and it's their own stupidity at fault. If you want to sell something, sell it. If you want to make cultural statements with money which are liable to upset a portion of 78% of the public who claim Christianity, and support 1% of the population instead, then any company deserves what it gets in retribution. And Christians don't have to work for organizations on the list you provided, which are are pro-gay, if they choose to take such a stand. It's their decision. Likewise, nobody is forcing AFA members from buying Fords, it's their decision. They're voting values with their money. It's THEIR money. I don't see why it seems "justifiable" for pro-homosexual websites to make lists of companies which are pro-homosexual, such as you quoted, but when people on the opposite side of the issue object, you call this anti-Christian. Right is right, wrong is wrong. This isn't just about Ford. If you want to destroy a culture, destroy the family. That's the bottom line issue - survival of a civilization.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11693538.post-37466930661631547302008-02-06T01:48:00.000-05:002008-02-06T01:48:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
