Just Google It [Politics]

Here's a fun game you can play, especially if you believe the Democrat braying about "Bushes lies": Just Google It (or, if you prefer, Just Yahoo It).

Here's an example of the fun stuff you get:

Mr. LEVIN. Mr. President, today, along with Senators McCain, Lieberman, Hutchison and twenty-three other Senators, I am sending a letter to the President to express our concern over Iraq's actions and urging the President `after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.'
What's that? Our own Senator Carl Levin calling for military strikes against Iraq? Was Levin a liar?

Yesterday, Clinton signed into law HR 4655, the "Iraq Liberation Act
of 1998." In a presidential statement, issued by the White House, Clinton said, "This Act makes clear that it is the sense of the Congress that the United States should support those elements of the Iraqi opposition that advocate a very different future for Iraq than the bitter reality of internal repression and external aggression that the current regime in Baghdad now offers. . . . On October 21, 1998, I signed into law the Omnibus Consolidated and Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act, 1999, which made $8 million available for assistance to the Iraqi democratic opposition. . . My Administration, as required
by that statue, has also begun to implement a program to compile
information regarding allegations of genocide, crimes against humanity,
and war crimes by Iraq's current leaders as

** a step towards bringing to justice those directly responsible **

for such acts."

As Gomer Pyle would say, "Well, gooolee."

umm, the point is that the lefties are yelling that "bush lied", when the Democrats had the same intelligence.

as for an exit strategy, there of course is one: when the iraqis can stand on their own, we leave.

President Bush says...
"Those elected leaders in Washington who do not support our policies in Iraq have every right to voice their dissent," Mr. Bush said, prodding the critics to also offer a "credible alternative."

So, DJ Rizzlkrung, what's your alternative? Spitwads, short straws and king's x? Do we invoke the superpower option or be it burkahs and suspenders at the dhimmikibbutz?
